About Me
My Story
I still remember the day math clicked for me. I was 16, in the second term of my secondary school year (what would be 10th grade in high school). I had dedicated the whole holiday to mastering the fundamentals, and when classes resumed, something just snapped into place. Suddenly, everything became clear, and since then, it's been one of my favorite things.
That foundation carried me through university, where I graduated with honors in Civil Engineering. During those years, I found myself drawn to software engineering. What started as simple curiosity, solving matrices with Python, evolved into a passion for software development. You might wonder, "Why not data science instead?" Honestly, I don't have a clear answer yet — but I know the future is bright, and I'm excited to keep figuring it out.
The journey hasn't always been smooth, though. For every breakthrough moment like that day in secondary school, there have been weeks of frustration and doubt. I'm still figuring things out, still making mistakes, and still learning from them. Some days, it feels like I've barely scratched the surface of what I want to accomplish. But those challenges keep me humble and hungry to improve.
These days, when I'm not coding, you'll likely find me coding (yes, lol!) or hanging out on a space on X, reading or listening to music. It just depends on my mood. Recently, I've made reading a daily habit rather than an occasional luxury. I'm alternating between technical books and ones on personal growth. My newest obsession is DevOps, learning how to build more resilient systems and automate the tedious parts of deployment.
This year, I'm focusing on three things:
- Contributing meaningfully to open-source projects (even if it starts with documentation)
- Expanding my professional network beyond my comfort zone
- Finally establishing a consistent gym routine (I guess third time's the charm 😅)
If you're working on something interesting, passionate about technology, or just want to exchange ideas, slide into my DMs on X. Let's build something remarkable together. 🚀
